Australian tourists to Bali rose 56.80 Percent
Visiting Australian tourists to Bali during the period of January-November 2008 there were as many as 286,998 people or 15.72 percent of total visitors.
"The visit of tourists has increased Australia's most high, that is 56.80 percent compared with the 10 countries that currently supply most tourists to Bali," said Head of the Central Statistics (BPS) Provinsi Bali Ida Komang Wisnu in Denpasar, on Tuesday (6 / 1 ).
He said, tourists visit the home of kangaroos during the month of November 2008 as many as 183,033 people or 56.80 percent increase compared with the same month in 2007.
Australia ranks second to Japan after the citizens most holiday to Bali. From the 10 countries that most people visiting Pulau Dewata, Japan ranks top with a visit as much as 338,003 people or 18.52 percent of the total tourists to Bali. Following South Korea, after Australia, ranks third with 124,098 people (6.80 percent), Taiwan 120,810 people (6.62 percent), China and 118,665 people (6.50 percent).
Meanwhile, the people of Malaysia to Bali recorded 113,409 people, or 6.21 percent of the number of visits to Bali , Germany, 77,316 people (4.24 percent), UK 77,316 people (4.24 percent), France 71,788 people (3, 93 percent), United States 61,770 people (3.38 percent), and other countries 436,977 people (23.94 percent).
"From the 10 countries that supply most tourists to Bali, almost everything has increased, except Taiwan which came down 8.61 percent and the increase in most of Australia is a high 56.80 percent," said Ida Komang Wisnu.
