Lounge in the airport is different, some offer food and drink that nice, with shower facilities, workplaces, and even massage service or playing a computer game that will help you pass the time. However, some have a bad service, or extra services provided only a comfortable chair and drink welcome. Choosing a lounge which will be used can be complex but it is very important for the comfort of your trip.

There is great misunderstanding in the travel industry, that is when you are told only to use the lounge of your airlines . Surely not so. You have more options rather than that during the time you think, if you travel as a gold card member of Star Alliance or One World.

For example, you travel as a gold card member of Royal Orchid Plus (Thai Airlines), which is a member of Star Alliance. During your journey using the Star Alliance airlines, you can use the lounge, a lounge that is under the Star Alliance. You do not have to use the lounge Thai Airlines airlines just because you are using the airlines. You can use the lounge-lounge owned by other airlines such as United, SAS, Air Canada, Lufthansa, Varig, Ansett Australia, Air New Zealand, All Nippon Airways, and of course the Thai Airlines.

All you need to do is submit a ticket boarding pass the day, the airline is a member of Star Alliance, your gold card, you are entering will be!

This opportunity will give you the option of extremes. For example, Thai Airlines lounge at Hong Kong International Airport is very cool and they provide a tasty dim sum in the morning, but the food in the afternoon the day is not so tasty, you can choose to use a lounge owned by United, which provides fruit and fresh cheese-cheese is delicious. United Lounge also features a computer is better and more knowledgeable.

Ski resorts often held liable for all winter sports activities within their boundaries and as such ... take time to make sure the pistes are groomed, the instructors are competent and that any dangerous conditions like heavy snow, ice, and avalanche risks are properly managed.

World Nomads cover does include on-piste snowboarding and skiing, off piste, Terrain Park and skiing and snowboarding provided it is not done in restricted or unsafe areas.

It is very difficult to gauge the risk of injury outside of ski resorts and therefore our underwriters can't easily offer.

You are covered for emergency medical treatment undertaken by qualified resort staff and any air evacuation or road ambulance transport that is required subject to the Emergency Assistance team being contacted and approval given.

Your equipment will also be covered while in official resort storage where a check in is required but is not covered if it is left anywhere where the general public have constant access or where items can be taken without your knowledge, including ski racks (secured or not) or in resort lockers in public areas.

Be sensible guys. Skiing can be dangerous so let's be careful out there
You are not covered where you are:

1. Wilfully exposing yourself to a needless risk like cliff drops or taking on the double black diamond run after your first ever day on the slopes.
2. Intoxicated or have taken illegal drugs where your ability and decision making is probably compromised.
3. Out of the bounds of the ski resort.
4. extreme skiing or snowboarding.

2. If I wipe-out and break my new ski's are they covered?
No, ski equipment isn't covered while you are using it.
3. What happens if someone steals my gear?

4. Am I covered while I am learning to ski?
Yes, as long as you are within the boundaries of the resort and are being sensible.
